What's not covered?

Individuals below 18 years and above 65 years are not eligible for this insurance. Dependent children added to the policy have no minimum age.

If you're diagnosed with any of the 7 mosquito-borne diseases within 15 days after purchase of this insurance (waiting period), you're not covered.

Any diagnosis or treatment in a foreign country, with certain exceptions, is not covered.

You will be covered for filariasis only once in a lifetime

In the case of renewal (with no previous claim), there is no waiting period. If you have claimed the benefit for a certain disease, then there will be a 60 day waiting period for that disease

If you have been admitted to the hospital for less than 24 hours, you will not be covered.

Any treatment other than that for the 7 mosquito-borne diseases will not be covered.

Lump-sum payout upon hospitalisation starting from 10,000 to 75,000

If diagnosed with any of 7 mosquito-borne diseases (list), and hospitalised for more than 24 hours, you will receive a lump-sum payout of the Sum Insured (SI).

You may add upto 5 family members (including spouse) in the family plan.

Policy is renewable after a claim has been made, with certain restrictions.
